Zero Waste Dish Washing Block
We love the Zero Waste Dish Washing Block™. It lasts forever and is a cleaning powerhouse with a wonderful sudsy lather. It's cuts grime and grease, but is gentle on your hands. Also completely unscented and fragrance-free.
You can even use it for cleaning-duty all over your home. Take stains out of laundry, take labels off of jars, spot clean your carpet, use it to wipe down counters... it's a truly multipurpose product.
Regular Size: Each 7.5 oz bar will last a LONG time. It can last a single person who hand-washes all dishes (no dishwasher) approximately 6 months. If the person only uses the bar for pots and pans, it will last even longer. Ours is about 6 months old and still 2/3 it's original size.
HUGE: This 22.5 oz bar can last one person up to up to 18 months. For a household of two people, it can last up to up to a year.
How to use
Scrape dishes to remove excess grease and food. Wet sponge, for plates, bowls and cups, and rub dish block soap to create suds. (Repeat as needed to refresh suds.) Wash items and rinse well. Works in warm or cold water. We prefer warm water for best results. For pots and pans, use a scrubber or scourer.
Using a strong scourer or scrubber exclusively on the block will wear it down faster than using a soft sponge or cloth.

And it is ever so slightly more efficient than dish soap because I can just pick up my brush, wet it, rub it on top of the block and scrub. It doesn't take much to remove egg and other caked on ingredients so feels like I'm using less soap and it looks neater than a plastic bottle.
I absolutely loved this soap! Unlike other natural soaps, it was able to remove grease from my Tupperware without leaving behind any greasy residue from the food! Five stars from me and even better because it’s waste-free!
