Pinto Beans (Organic)
Our Organic Pinto Beans are grown in South Central Idaho on a family farm that fully transitioned to organic in 1996.
Your Pinto beans will come in a bag made from 100% recycled paper, fully lined with NatureFlex*- a clear greaseproof film made from wood pulp. These bags are certified for industrial composting only. PLEASE RETURN THEM TO US so they can be properly composted. They will not break down in the landfill and cannot be recycled.
Grown in Washington
*NatureFlex Is made from natural, renewable wood pulp. It is both biodegradable and compostable. These bags are certified by the Composting Manufacturing Alliance, but please RETURN THEM TO US for composting as they are not accepted in Tacoma or other Pierce County municipal food waste bins. They WILL NOT break down in the landfill ( In fact, no bioplastics labeled biodegradable or compostable will break down in the landfill) We have partnered with Cedar Grove Composting facility where all our certified packaging can be industrially composted.
