As some of you may have heard, Biokleen was recently acquired by a large corporation (Weiman, a subsidiary of the Carlyle Group). This means they are no longer a family owned business, their products will no longer be offered in bulk and they have moved production from Vancouver WA to the East Coast.
We stocked up before these details were final so that we had some time to find suitable alternatives as the Biokleen brand is no longer a fit for us. This means that if you are a subscription customer of our Biokleen brand products, you do not have to do anything just yet as we can still provide all these products for the coming weeks. We will contact you when we are closer to needing to make the switch. If you are planning a new purchase, go ahead and order any of the Biokleen products available on our site. Even if you sign up for a new subscription, you are not locked into anything and can make changes or cancel at anytime.
We were very happy to support Biokleen over this past 7 months and while it's unfortunate that we will have to give up a product that so many of us love and we get a little teary when we think about life without Biokleen Dishwasher Powder, we know that when one door closes, another opens and we are excited about some of the new products we will be offering.
We have already started carrying Meliora laundry powder. We're very happy with their product and their company. They carry a number of distinctions that support their model of People, Planet and Profit including: Certified B Corp, 1% for the Planet, Leaping Bunny Certified, and MADE SAFE. They also take back their large bulk containers that we purchase in to clean and refill. We're happy to support Meliora and we can tell you that they will likely become our new source for Oxygen Bleach.
All the Biokleen products are still available on our site as we are still evaluating product replacements, so please continue to enjoy them while supplies last.
